49th Annual Fall Festival
September 8 and 9, 2018
The 49th annual Fall Festival is a weekend on the St. Odilia campus you do not want to miss! Live music, games, entertainment a marketplace, bingo on Sunday, inflatables a silent auction and a raffle with 20 prizes, for a total prize winnings of $10,000!
Many volunteers are needed throughout the weekend and two weeks prior. Please grace us with your God-given talents and commit to a two-hour opportunity. You can be part of the experience that brings joy to our many festival patrons. Donations can be brought to the Courtyard near the northeast entrance (on shelves and under coat racks). Needed items include:
- Book Nook: Books, Cd’s/DVD’s games and puzzles for all ages in quality condition
- Bottle Blast Game: Bottles of all kinds. Pop, sparkling juice, gatorade, shampoo, lotions and more. Plastic bottles only.
- Canning Jars: Small and medium size. Pat Kepper’s Legacy pickles will return once again.
- Silent Auction Baskets: Empty baskets of all sizes needed.
- Candy Shoppe: Bags or plastic containers of candy. The nut shoppe has been permanently converted to a candy shoppe due to children with nut allergies.
Festival Raffle Tickets: Our 2018 raffle includes an opportunity to win twenty (YES 20) CASH prizes with total prize winnings of $10,000! Raffle ticket packets are available for pick-up in the north entrance of the church. Any packets not picked up by August 19 will be delivered to homes the week of August 20. New This Year! Coffee House Live! A live acoustic band led by Dan Perry will back up singers with a provided list of songs. One rehearsal will be provided before that date. For more information, contact Julie Quinn Kiernan at email@example.com or at 651-329-9194.
Quilts: The next opportunity to purchase chances to win the Festival raffle quilts, Ribbon Fantasy (100" X 113") and Ribbon Mini (18" X 20"), is on Volunteer Recruitment Sunday; August 19 in the Courtyard. Quilt raffle tickets remain priced at 5 for $5 or $2 for single tickets. The large quilt, made up of square blocks that result in a circular pattern, was beautifully quilted by our friends at After-All Long Arm Quilting; www.a-alaq.com. This year's quilts are made up in a tranquil color palette, making them easy to incorporate into just about any decor.
