Open to 6-8th graders (High Schoolers assist as leaders)
This summer, we launched a brand new camp for middle schoolers, combining some of the best elements from Summer Stretch and VBS After Hours with a lot new ideas that have our teens very excited! It’s structured like VBS After Hours (same days & times), and features a daily off-campus fun site like Summer Stretch used to (like Grand Slam, a beach day, Whirley Ball, or Bunker Beach). But Unleashed also mixes in some strong faith elements (via some great talks & group activities), a week-long color wars competition between the groups, and some wacky water or messy games on-site too!
The color wars and onsite games are what have our youth most pumped up - each day we do one or two of our favorite water or ‘messy’ games that we’ve done over the years, like Slip-n-Slide Kickball, food games, and “ultimate fruit” (ultimate Frisbee, but with apples, bananas, pineapple, etc.). The high schoolers help us pick a “best of” schedule featuring the games that 6-8th graders will absolutely love and remember for years to come! It’s all part of creating strong Christian fellowship to grow together!
Date/Time: Late June (Mon. - Thurs.), 12:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Location: Onsite at St. Odilia, but with offsite fun sites each day (transportation provided)
To Register: Registration for Unleashed will open in Spring 2020
Open to incoming 6 - 8th graders (High Schoolers assist as leaders)VBS After Hours is an exciting program for middle school and high school teens, and it takes place directly after the morning part of VBS! After Hours is a complement to the existing VBS experience - but instead of the teens leading a younger grade, VBS After Hours is designed directly for the middle school and high schoolers. We focus each day on two main goals: having as much crazy, memorable fun as possible, and developing the next generation of Christian Leaders!Date/Time: Late July (Mon. - Thurs.) 12:30 - 5:00 PM
