St. Odilia primary grades introduce students to a supportive, caring, and Christ-centered learning environment. We nurture our young learners as they develop curiosity for their world. We focus on Jesus as an example for decision-making and building community.
Primary students receive instruction in Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Art, Physical Education, Technology, and Music. Classroom technology includes iPads, classroom computer centers, and interactive Smartboard activities. Catholic students in 2nd grade are offered the opportunity to experience the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion.
Overall, grades K-2 offer challenges and practices for our students of all learning levels. We introduce respect, learning skills, and empathy through a well-rounded curriculum. Students learn more about their faith and Jesus in daily religion classes and community prayer, weekly all-school masses, and service projects.
