    Program Overview & Curriculum Choices
In each class, students will experience:

*A large group segment with current videos or engaging speakers
    *Small group discussion and activities
    *Religious-themed games and activities

The Middle School Faith Formation program has evolved into a ministry that is at its core: relational, dynamic and modernized. Though there are traces of traditional learning methods utilized, the majority of our tactics are renewed, varied and engaging.

It is evident that Middle School Students today live busier lives than we often acknowledge. The challenges particular to their generation and age group are great. Our goal within the St. Odilia Junior High Faith Formation program is to offer a community that nourishes, an environment that is solid and stable, an experience that is welcoming and encourages them to think critically and ask questions, and sessions that are marked by Christian joy, enthusiasm, witness and dynamism. We want this experience to be enjoyable! We want an encounter with Christ to be at the heart of all that we do! We want His name to be contagious! We want this energy and love of Christ to flow into all of your homes and out into the wider community!

    GRADE 6 & 7: EDGE (Life Teen)

Life Teen's EDGE program consists of a series of semesters on fundamental faith topics which are important to establishing a strong knowledge of the Church's teachings as well as beginning the process of preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation. The format for this curriculum is one that encourages questions and reflection. Our themes for this year (2019-2020) will be the Old and New Testaments within the larger context of salvation history. Consisting of large group lectures, small group discussions, and engaging activities, this model is fitting for the inquisitive minds of our 6th and 7th grade students.
